Dok Krai Resort is located in 5 acres of landscaped gardens in rural countryside on the banks of the Dok Krai Lake some 30 kilometres from the town of Rayong in south east Thailand. It is only 24 kilometres from the beach on the Gulf of Thailand which is in turn part of the South China Sea.
Dokkrai is some 110 kilometres from Bangkok’s International Airport , 126 kilometres from Bangkok itself and 34 kilometres from the bustling seaside resort of Pattaya.
Just off the coast to the south lies the beautiful island of Ko Samet while to the south east near the border with Cambodia lies Thailand’s second largest island of Ko Chang which is part of a marine national park.

Thailand as a whole enjoys a tropical climate with three seasons comprising a cool season running from November to February, A hot season from March to May and a wet or monsoon season for the rest of the year.
However the weather in Rayong province where Dokkrai is located is on average less cloudy, rainy and humid than other parts of Thailand and enjoys a more stable temperature.
